I’m always trying to find ways to ask insightful questions to Ethan. Questions to spark his critical thinking and understanding of the world around him. While looking trhough Dr. Jean’s “Best of Science & Math” teaching resource for Pre-K, I came across a selection of questions. These questions stretch children’s vocabulary and thinking skills:

* Why do you think so?

* What made you say that?

* How did you know that?

* How might you find out?

* What do you think will happen?

* Why do yu think that happened?

 

We all know the saying “children learn by doing” but they also learn by asking & answering questions!
